Becoming a Dreamer and Carrying the Dream of God

I woke up one morning in January of 2003 shaken by the dream that God had given to me in the night. The first scene was about pulling out encoded secrets that had been printed on special tiny pieces of film. In the dream, these pieces of film were in my ear. God revealed to me that He had placed the secrets of heaven deep within “the ear” of my heart. He told me to be consumed with pulling these secrets out so He could talk to me about them. The second scene in my dream took place in our large bathroom. There were several people gathered around an old, worn, brown leather suitcase. The side of the suitcase had a large sticker on it that said, “Africa”. The binding of this fascinating suitcase was ripped exposing a thick layer of paper padding. Each person in the bathroom agreed that these pieces of paper must be placed in the water that was now flowing in the bathtub. As we launched these pieces of paper into the water, each one changed from paper into an object before our eyes. The piece I placed in the water turned into a child’s teapot. Through prayer and pastoral guidance, I was able to learn that water is significant of the Holy Spirit as revealed in the Bible. The papers that changed into objects represented miracles. Things that were not would be called forth and become something that was. Miracles, signs, and wonders were awaiting us in the place the suitcase was destined to go, which was Africa.

We decided to “risk” the security that we had know in our little Kansas City community and abandon ourselves to God and His perfect plan for our lives. Up to this point in our lives we had never known anyone that had done it until I met a little lady that was living what she was preaching. She said, “God wants to kill you!” I spent 5 hours face down in the carpet, while my friend, the sweet Holy Spirit of God killed me. He then kissed me back to life. He showed me that His presence was more precious than my own life. During that time, I realized that the lower I became, the more glory God would receive! We started to see how most men spend their entire lives striving and doing for God, and never resting in His presence and just enjoying being with Him and ministering to Him. Man looks for a title or a position, and the whole time God wants us to go lower and lower. I was set free of what others thought, and allowed to look deeply into the eyes of my Beloved. Suddenly nothing else mattered!

Prepare the Way Ministry was founded in 2003. This ministry was the next step in obeying the call of God on our lives. We have only one life to live, so why not give it away to the One we so dearly love. The Scripture clearly tells us what God plan is for each of us; (Matthew 10:1… He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease’s …Jesus sent his disciples out and commanded them, saying: : ⁷And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ ⁸Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.) We want God’s glory to cover the earth and we have chosen to freely give our lives to serve to this end.

We have been going to Uganda, Africa for two glorious years now. The beautiful King has given us such a deep love for His African bride. Prepare the Way Ministry’s vision is to bring revival to any one who has a desire to see the Kingdom of God increase within them and in their lives. This increase comes from God’s very presence coming into our lives as the Holy Spirit dwells within, upon and around us. God himself gives us the grace to be all that He desires. Revival not only affects the individual but also changes believer’s communities, cities, regions, and countries! Our goal is to bring honor to God by laying down our lives for Jesus our Savior, as He laid His life down for us. We believe that salvation is for the body, soul and spirit. Salvation flows from close relationship with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and those He loves.

Most of you know that “Prepare the Way Ministry” broadcasts bi- weekly out of Spirit FM radio station in Mukono, and weekly out of Koboko which reaches into southern Sudan and northern Uganda. We are unable to get reports from the northern city due to the poverty and lack ability to communicate. We know that as the Word of God goes forth, it will not return void. His Word will always accomplish what it was sent to do, which is to prepare the hearts of men to have an intimate relationship with the glorious King and to become carriers of His glory to the nations. Pastor Hudson Suubi speaks the last ten minutes of each Mukono radio broadcast to encourage people to call in for prayer. Every week people are receiving “Sozo” salvation in the form of healing to their bodies, deliverance from demonic oppression, and Jesus becoming Lord and ruler of their hearts. It is so awesome to see the hand of God move through the radio waves right into the hearts of men and women on the other side of the world.

We want to update you on the wonderful, Faith Children’s Home. The children that have been sponsored have moved into the home last Sunday, May 8th. The leadership team from Lugazi Miracle Center led the people of the church to the site of the new children’s home after the morning service. The home was dedicated to the Lord. Each room that would be housing children was prayed over and anointed with oil. Alters built to demonic gods were torn down in the spirit, and alters to Jesus Christ were erected in every room. Any residual evil spirit was commanded to leave, and the children’s rooms were filled with peace. Worship services are being held at the home on a regular basis. The children are overflowing with the love of their personal Jesus. We want to publicly thank some precious people for making the purchase of this home possible. These men carry the heart of Jesus, and our words alone can not give them the honor that they deserve. I know the hearts of these people and they are not looking for honor. Men of God moved by the Holy Spirit allowed this dream in God’s heart to become reality. Thank you to Duncan Hill, Mike Salley, and Bob Roosen. Each one of these men have their own ministries. They are all being used mightily by God, but they heard a secret from heaven in their hearts. They partnered together with us to rescue more children. God is forming a network. We believe He wants to demonstrate to the world how churches and ministries should flow together as one. It is not about a name being recognized, but that Jesus is glorified and His people are helped. We also wish to thank all of you who have “caught God’s heart” and have sponsored a child at risk. Pastor Hudson tells us that he is moving the children into the home as they are sponsored. Sixteen children have been sponsored up to this point and “praise God” this is wonderful. However, twenty-eight other children are living without parents in cramped rooms, unable to attend school, and possibly without enough food. It is time for the numb to feel, it is time for the wings to heal. Who will allow God’s vision to fill their hearts? This is about changing the life of a child, forever! It is about a child that will grow up in an equipping center. It is the principle of multiplication for the Kingdom. This is the very heartbeat of Jesus. He always stopped for every child.
