Koboko Ministry Trip
by Pastor Barnabas
April 30, 2007
Day one: was a struggle, difficult, and hard. People's hearts were like walls and a bit difficult.
Day Two: Pastor Bill called a meeting and we shared about what the spiritual atmosphere was like. We entered into intersession, spiritual warfare, and breakthrough prayers.
Day Three: We had a breakthrough in the training sessions. The recipients were attentive with soft hearts. God moved mightily in each one. Pastor Bill gave out assignments after class to go out to pray for the people of the town and bring the good news.
Day Four: It was like the ground of our hearts had been softened and freshly plowed and was now fertile. Once again after class the Pastors went out this time for an open air crusade. This group let by Pastor Barnabas and Jimmy Taban went to a certain place. The night before unknown to us these people had been attacked by someone who killed a woman, put her body in her house, and then burned her house to the ground. The neighbors were paralyzed with fear. They were so overcome with the spirit of fear that some became very sick even possessed by evil spirits. Pastor Barnabas began to testify to the people that he had a dream that same night about this woman being strangled and killed. The simple word of God was then preached and people began to repent of their sins with crying and tears. Eight people gave their lives to Jesus on the spot.

Day Five: A team from Lugazi and Koboko ministers went out for open air evangelism and home visitation to pray for sick people. There was a certain man who was paralyzed and blind. When we laid our hands on him he was delivered of his paralysis and his eyes opened up to see again. Then a young man who had graduated from college with a degree in industrial training came with a problem with his right leg and his life was bewitched. He gave his life to Jesus and was immediately healed. Praise the Lord. A group of Muslim women became very anxious in their spirits and asked us to return so they also could hear the message of Jesus coming to save them.
The harvest is truly ripe in Koboko. All of this is happening after a full day of class and discipleship. I wish we would use this example more often. We attend so many conferences in church but remain unchanged. Doing nothing we lose what we have heard.
