HOPE CHILDREN'S HOME  SSEYA, UGANDA

Tedy's father, Joseph Kawule, died of AIDS in 1999 when Tedy was two years old. The mother, Olivia, returned to her family in her home village leaving Tedy with an elderly grandmother. The grandmother was unable to properly care for Tedy. She arrived at Hope Children's Home in poor condition on the 20th of December 2006. She was timid and shy. She came dressed in rags.

Tedy attends Sseya Community School. She loves to worship at Sseya Revival Church with Pastors Josiah and Annet Ndifuna. Tedy comes from the village of Waggala and the Muganda tribe.
