BlogsLiving for the Will of AnotherMarch 20, 2008 -
Read all blogs Each day, our morning Bible study has been growing in numbers and interest. I have been doing the majority of the teaching in these morning sessions. Today, I asked the other guest pastor and his wife to share some. I finished up with a simple talk on our expectations of the place that Jesus holds in our lives and compared it to His expectation and desire for us. In the evening service, we continued with the morning topic. I spoke on John the Baptist and while he was in prison, he questioned if “Jesus was the one” or should he look for another. The time went by so quickly, and I was not able to finish the entire message. As we closed, every person present wanted to pray with me that they would conform to the mind of Christ. Jesus lived for someone else’s will. He lived to please the Father. He spoke what he heard the Father say and did what He saw the Father do. Through my interpreter, I was able to pray for the people for healing and hope. One man said, “You have left us hungry for more of God’s and His Word”. I thank God that their spirits are wakening up to the calling and drawing of God on their lives. Please, keep praying for them. There is a stronghold of religion which has controlled this nation for a long, long time. Pray for me that I can become what God wants me to be for these people. I am not just trying to stir up a little excitement for God. I am looking for those who want to lay down their lives to know God and partake fully in His Kingdom. Leave a comment
