How Will Revival Come?

March 24, 2008 - Read all blogs

During this week much has been done at a personal level in the lives of so many people. I am unsure what if anything has happened at the corporate level. The religious routine has puts many people to sleep. God has rescued many people from the raging sea of self centeredness only to be put back in sinking ships with out sails.

God’s name and honor has been lifted in the eyes of the people this week. We have come for a purpose and now we must pray. I know my love for these people has grown beyond my expectation. What God has done will remain and increase. Jesus said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me”. We must pray and be stretched so that the world may know Him.

Easter weekend has melted into one event in my mind. The formal services have been interrupted by praise, dance, joy, tears, repentance, commitment, healing and restoration. The Bible says, “Can Jesus die again for our sins? No. He has died once for all who will believe.” How then will revival come? It must come by hunger beings stirred up in a people, hearts being turned once again to Jesus, God’s presence breaking into our lives, entering into the Kingdom of God, and the revealing of those Son’s of God who like Jesus the First Born will lay down there lives for their Father.
