Prayer Shield for Prepare the Way Ministry 2009

Dear Friends,

As you read this prayer shield please allow yourself to be led by Holy Spirit to pray according to His specific direction. There are many times the day’s ministry brings challenges and surprises. Countless times we have seen God intervene in a situation because of your prayer.

Jesus often referred to the “Harvest”. The harvest refers to the day or season we live in as well as the people God has called into His kingdom. Ask God to increase
Prepare the Way Ministry's heart for the harvest;

To respond with urgency
To see and be moved with compassion
To labor with joy and strength
To recognize and bring forth the Harvest

“May the ones that God has chosen to become the Bride of Christ not enter eternity without
having heard the message of the cross or having experienced His great love for them.”

Ask God for divine wisdom and revelation for the future of the school
Rich blessings upon Dr. Nick and Faith Bible College for supplying training materials and allowing Prepare the Way School of Ministry in East Africa to become an extension of the college
Prepare the way through prayer as the students in northern Uganda leave the refugee camps and go back to their villages
Ask God to let us reach the people that He has called for this urgent time
Pray for each student to be able to carry more of the presence of God. Strength of commitment in those who have graduated to carry forth the mandate placed on their lives
Pray for Christ’s likeness to be evident in the lives of the leaders; in servant hood and a willingness to lay down their lives for the gospel
Pray for the resources required to help support the centers with training materials, motorcycles, copiers, and travel costs for the pastors
Creative ways for the centers to become self-sustaining for their daily needs
Ask God for wisdom and understanding, so the students and instructors will have the mind of Christ (Ephesians 1:17)
Pray for a strong anointing on the students who are going out preaching, holding crusades, and praying for the sick
Pray for pure hearts before the Lord
Ask God to send new students to the schools, who are hungry for more of His presence
Ask God to protect those who are willing to take the gospel into dangerous areas; open doors to follow God’s leading into Sudan

Strength and wisdom for Pastor Josiah and Annet as they direct Hope Children's Home
Pray for “a team” attitude, everyone willing to serve each other in love
Pray for the love and wisdom to consume all of the staff as they lead and guide the children in their daily activities
Ask God for the spirit of wisdom and understanding for the children (most are still catching up from lack of education in their pasts (Eph. 1:17)
Apply the blood of Jesus to the door posts of the children’s home and cover the property with the blood of Jesus
Pray for open hearts and minds in the children as they are trained in scripture, keyboard, and worship during the evening hours
Ask God to guide the children into their destiny Bind the spirit that would try to abort the children from walking in their destinies
Protection against any sickness and disease that they not come upon God's children and staff
Pray against theft and vandalism and that the children and the staff will not be affected by witchcraft, curses, or practices of the occult directed toward them from other villagers
Pray for protection from injury due to the dangers of life in a village
Alertness and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit for Anthony, our night guard.
Ask the Holy Spirit to make the Father's love real to each one of the children
Pray for the minds of the children to be filled with revelation knowledge
The oil of the Spirit to be poured out on unhealed wounds in the children's hearts
Pray for the children to desire to become godly young men and women
Pray that this children's home will become an equipping center, that these children will be raised up to become lovers of God and warriors for the King
Unity and a loving family relationship among the children, the leaders, and the church

The Children of Faith Children's Home
Lugazi, Uganda

Apply the blood of Jesus to the door posts of the children’s home
Ask God to encircle His children with His love, for the children to feel loved and not lose heart
Warriors arise, pray for strength and steadfastness in the children
Love and wisdom for the school teachers as they reach out to the children
Bind the spirit that would try to abort the children from walking in their callings and gifting to their destinies
God’s embrace and keeping power that the children not forsake the Lord
Protection against any sickness and disease that they not come upon God's children
Pray against theft and vandalism of the children’s property
Pray for a shield to intercept spiritual attacks witchcraft, curses, and occult practices directed toward them
Ask the Holy Spirit to make the Father's love real to each one
Ask the Father to pour the oil of the Spirit on unhealed wounds in the children's hearts Break off rejection, abandonment, and confusion from each child’s heart
Pray for the children to desire to become godly young men and women
Pray for unity and a loving family relationship among the children
For this to be a “Malaria-free zone”

Love Children’s Homes

Kenya: Bungoma
Pray for God’s blessing on the pastors who are caring for orphans in their homes
Pray for unity and a loving family relationship among the orphans and their families
Blessings upon the faithful sponsors who express their love to the children
These homes will become equipping centers
That these children will be raised up to become lovers of God and warriors for the King. Ask the Holy Spirit to make the Father's love real to each one
Pray for safety and protection upon the children and their families
Wisdom to increase as they study at school
Ask God to heal any wounds of the past, erase traumatic memories
Pray for sponsors to support all of these children who are in need
Pray for creative miracles for children with special needs
Declare “There will always be enough!”
Pray for the mind of Christ and ears to hear “This is the way, walk ye in it”

The Farm, the Church, and Village of Sseya, Uganda

Pray for protection over “God's” property
Pray for a unity among the believers to become an example to the village of the love of Christ
Ask God to break the spirit of poverty, hopelessness, and fear off the surrounding villagers. Protection from witchcraft, curses, and occult practices
Rejoice over the birth of Promise, which is Peace the cow’s young son
Protection over the animals from injury or disease which include cows, pigs, and chickens.
Finances to drill a deep well for fresh water on the property
Pray for an increase in ministry opportunities
Ask for favor with the neighbors and salvation for their households
Pray that Sseya will become a model village set apart for God and His purposes
Pray for an increase in the presence of God at Sseya Revival Center, that it will become a model of Christ-likeness in serving the village of Sseya
The purchase of an additional 4 acres to grow 90% of the food for the children
Wisdom for Wilson as he continues to manage the farm
Ask for an abundance of produce from the land (a land of milk and honey--minus the giants) for the purpose of feeding the children, using the surplus to fund the farm so it can become self sustaining
Ask Holy Spirit to continue “to hover” over the place with His strong presence that people will be saved, healed and delivered by His presence
Cooperation among the workers, the church members, and a lifestyle of godliness
For this to be a “Malaria-free zone”

Other Prayer Needs

The Intercessors, the U.S. and East African Boards of Prepare the Way Ministry, and their Families
Ask God to pour His strength into Pastor Bill and Linda as they are in the workforce as well as in full time ministry
Pray that they can increase the amount of time spent in Africa. Bill & Linda would like to be there together for 8 months a year
Ask God to increase our faith for the release of Kingdom Finances
Ask God to free up some of Bill's time to be able to do the works of the ministry required for Africa and the USA
Increase of the spirit of wisdom and revelation to rest upon the entire team
Ask God for health and protection
Pray against spiritual attacks, backlash, or traps aimed at Bill, Linda, the intercessors, or board members
Pray for favor in the workplace for Bill & Linda
Wisdom and guidance in the next important steps that they have to take, open doors, favor with all involved, and an increased sensitivity to the voice of Holy Spirit
For increased faith to believe God for big things
Pray for safe travel and protection over all luggage and equipment
For angels to go ahead and prepare the way, to hem them in on all sides
Ask God for a more economical way to ship the large amount of cargo: children’s clothes, shoes, pastor’s study materials, and Bibles
Ask God to choose the 2009 Ministry teams He wants to come to East Africa Pray for unity among team members and leaders
Ask God for the teams to be in health in body, soul, and spirit
Pray that Bill and the team will not be affected by witchcraft, curses, or any occult practices directed toward them or against the conferences and services
Pray for protection over their families at home
Ask God for angelic protection over Bill and Linda as well as any team members and their belongings
Pray that the Kingdom of God will be seen on earth in Africa
Ask the Lord to use Bill and Linda so the strong presence of God flows into the lives of many people
Pray for favor with the airlines, customs officials, and airport security
Pray for a great harvest of souls to come into the Kingdom
Pray for a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit upon the preaching of the Word, for the conviction of sin, healings, miracles, and deliverances

Scriptures

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 20:4-5
May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.

Romans 13:9b-10
