Maureen was left as an orphan after the death of her father. The mother could not provide for her two youngest children, Maureen and Kaguta. Because the elder sister Annet was educated, the children became her responsibility. Annet married Pastor Josiah and the four became a family. They have sacrificed to care for the children but the financial burden has been heavy. Pastor Josiah and Annet are the directors of Hope Children’s Home. Maureen is a part of Hope Children’s Home although she lives down the road.
Maureen is very sweet and her beauty comes from within. She looks a lot like her sister, Annet. She is from the Munyoro tribe. Maureen is 1st in her class at school. She will be attending Senior 3 this year. She loves to sing and dance.
