Oscar Lubangakene was born in Pabo, Uganda in an IDP (internally displaced persons) camp in 1999. He is 10 years old. All he has known is life in the camp. Lubangakene means "God alone". God has sustained him and kept him alive for "His Good Pleasure" to see Oscar walk into his destiny. Oscar's mother could not handle the difficult life in the camp, so she divorced the father and left the camp. No one knows her whereabouts.
Oscar has been rescued by Pastor John Bosco and his wife. They are a loving and godly couple. Pastor Bosco is the dean of Prepare the Way School of Ministry in Pabo, Uganda. The home is a part of Prepare the Way Ministry Love Homes. Once Oscar is sponsored, he will enter Primary 3.
